Is this your first LPG conversion? Yes, I was looking at LPG on the internet when I decided to convert. Did you have any initial concerns about converting? Not really - I know someone who had an LPG conversion 7/8 years ago, it was a basic system but they had no problems. How did you find the conversion process with Fuelture? No problem, better than I could have expected, nothing went wrong. How easy has it been to run your LPG car? So easy, in fact, no one will believe me but in this weather, my car is actually starting on gas, it's true! I'm just back from France with my car and caravan, it was so easy taking my car to France they have so many LPG stations. Has refuelling been an issue? No, there are more stations than I thought. I was visiting my daughter and I could fill up on gas at the local station at the bottom of the road and it only cost 36.5p per litre. How has your car been running since the LPG conversion, any problems? The acceleration is great, and I'm getting the same from gas as I did petrol. I get around 20 miles to the gallon with my caravan attached. Is there anything that you would change about your conversion? Nothing, I would go about the conversion exactly the same way. The chaps at the installation centre are brilliant. What was the key factor about LPG that made you convert? Price, I couldn't afford to pay petrol prices of £5 per gallon for a hobby. Why did you choose Fuelture to convert your car to LPG? I looked at 2 or 3 other companies; either I got no answer, or didn't receive a satisfying answer; they almost didn't seem too bothered about my business. Fuelture were unbelievable and the Nicholson McLaren system is great. I am a self-confessed LPG fanatic.
