Is this your first LPG conversion?
Yes it is.

Did you have any initial concerns about converting?
Yes I did.  One was the upfront expense and payback.  So in my mind it took a while to consider the cost of purchase and the potential savings that I may get.  The way I justified it was fairly straight forward in the end.  I was on the verge of selling the truck to get something more economical but then realized that the actual transaction of selling my jeep and buying something else was actually far greater than having the LPG conversion.  Plus I actually like the jeep and didn’t really want to sell it but did need something much more economical.  I am acutely conscious of the environmental situation these days so having a truck and converting it to LPG gave me two things.  It gave me the moral high ground and it gave me the economy.

How did you find the conversion process with Fuelture?
The whole experience was immensely pleasurable.  I enjoyed the haggling over the price, I got a price I was happy with for what I was getting and I genuinely feel that I got value for money.

What was your experience of the actual conversion like?
It couldn’t have been better… I turned up dropped the truck off and picked up the loan car.  They called me back a few days later when the car was ready.  They showed me the whole installation and the difference in the boot floor, how to refuel – everything.  They were excellent, I couldn’t fault them.

How have you found refuelling the gas system?
At first it was a bit interesting but it’s fine.

How has your car been running since the LPG conversion, any problems?
I can’t tell the difference.  The system – it just works.

Is there anything that you would change about your conversion?
I would have the fill point higher up on the car.  It was my choice to have it lower down on the bumper but I would change that now.  Apart from that, absolutely nothing.  I went for the 95 litre tank on Fuelture’s advice and it was 100% correct advice.

Why did you choose Fuelture to convert your car to LPG?
Well interestingly, I’d been on the internet and did a search on ‘LPG Conversions’ which brought up a number of companies.  I wrote to about six companies and only four replied.  Two of the companies didn’t have the package I was looking for and felt like back street garages so I didn’t have a feeling of comfort dealing with those.  I wanted the national support that Fuelture offers because I drive all over the country.  When I made contact with Fuelture, everything they said they would do they did and for me the level of communication and the level of support that Fuelture give is exactly what I look for and it inspired confidence.

Is there anything more Fuelture could have done for you?
I don’t think there is to be fair.  There is nothing that I would want Fuelture to do differently; the whole experience start to finish was just fantastic.

What advice would you give to someone wanting to convert to LPG?
Well in fact that’s interesting because I do have a few friends and colleagues that I’ve talked to about LPG to the extend that one of them is going to enter into a discussion about converting his car.  Naturally I’ve recommend Fuelture and that’s not something that I do lightly.
